Villaraigosa:
The 11% Mayor
LA Weekly 9/10/08http://www.laweekly.com/2008-09-11/news/the-all-about-me-mayor

Welcome To Walter Moore’s Website

Moore, Not More Of The Same

Los Angeles can and should be the greatest city in the world.  Instead, it is turning into a Third World dump.

It’s time to fight back.  It’s time to make L.A. a great place to live and do business, the way it used to be.

We need a Mayor who actually shows up for work, not one who spends all his time flitting from one photo-op to the next.

We need a Mayor who will fight to protect our quality of life by:  hiring enough police to make every neighborhood safe; eliminating the ridiculous waste and corruption at City Hall; getting traffic moving again; ending “sanctuary city” policies; encouraging employers to move into the city, not out; treating business people fairly and equally; and preserving our low-rise, low-density architecture.

My name is Walter Moore, and I’m running for Mayor of L.A.  The non-partisan election is on March 3, 2009.  I’ve been a business trial lawyer for 24 years, and I’m a licensed real estate broker.  I graduated with honors from Princeton and Georgetown Law, and have a degree in Public and International Affairs.  I wrote Jamiel’s Law.  I am an “independent” -- not a Democrat or Republican -- so I evaluate policies based on their merits, not party affiliation.

If you’re a taxpaying American citizen, I’m your man.  Please take a few minutes to read my bio and platform

If you like what you see, please visit my “Volunteer” page.  You can help spread the word by: signing up for my newslettercontributing money for ads; putting a bumper sticker on your car and a sign in your yard; leaving flyers on your neighbors’ doorsteps; and telling friends, family and colleagues about my campaign.  Hey, it’s easier than moving to North Carolina.

We can turn this city around, but only if you take action.  Don’t count on anyone else to save this city for you.  It’s up to you and me.  But we can do it.  We just have to take action.
